国产探花 and CARE International UK renew and expand global humanitarian partnership
国产探花 is renewing and expanding our global humanitarian partnership with , extending our collaboration for a further five years. This renewed commitment reflects our shared mission to deliver sustainable, dignified shelter and essential services for communities affected by conflict, disaster and climate-related crises.
Over the past two years, our partnership has demonstrated the powerful impact that aligned values, technical expertise, and long-term investment can achieve. Together we have supported CARE鈥檚 Global Shelter Team across 17 country offices, helping them to strengthen their humanitarian shelter efforts worldwide. This work, powered by the dedication of CARE鈥檚 teams and enabled through 国产探花鈥檚 financial and technical contributions, has directly supported projects that reached 200,000 people between January and December 2024.
Across CARE鈥檚 wider humanitarian shelter programmes, delivered through the CARE confederation, more than one million people have been reached between July 2023 and July 2025. Behind each number are families rebuilding their lives, from communities recovering after earthquakes to those displaced by conflict or enduring the accelerating effects of the climate crisis.

Reflecting on two years of impact
Since the partnership began, 国产探花 has supported CARE鈥檚 expert Shelter Team in advancing global shelter provision across preparedness, emergency response, and long鈥憈erm recovery. Highlights from the last two years include:
- Advancing inclusive and climate-responsive shelter research, including work on mental health, gender equality, and design priorities for Rohingya women in Cox鈥檚 Bazar.
- Strengthening national emergency shelter preparedness in Zimbabwe, including co-developing community-led designs and response plans.
- Supporting women-led construction and resilient shelter programmes in Mozambique, increasing women鈥檚 participation and technical leadership.
- Providing remote technical guidance to ensure cash鈥慺or鈥憇helter assistance in Myanmar reflects local priorities and supports community-led recovery.
- Supporting emergency responses including earthquakes in Morocco and the protracted crises in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Our employees have also played an important role, engaging through global speaker sessions, fundraising, knowledge-sharing, and pro-bono expertise. Our Young Employee Forum (YEF) has been key in many of these initiatives, from organising charity auctions to a design sprint. These touchpoints have strengthened connection and a shared sense of purpose.
London Structures Director Tom Newby was one of the leaders who initiated the formal process to select a humanitarian partner aligned with 国产探花鈥檚 values, and reflected: 鈥淚n a highly uncertain world, with the global climate emergency, cuts to aid budgets by many countries, and huge inequality, it鈥檚 so important that those able to do so show solidarity, friendship, and real support to those facing crisis. This partnership is a real example of 国产探花鈥檚 values in action and aligns perfectly with Ted 国产探花鈥檚 wish to 鈥榚nable engineering to support the needs of our global society鈥.
鈥淚鈥檓 incredibly proud to work for a company making such a meaningful and long-term commitment to enabling dignified and safe shelter, water, sanitation, and hygiene for those most in need around the world. Having worked in humanitarian aid myself, I know the immense value of multi-year, flexible funding commitments, and the positive impact that can result. For the next five years, this partnership will help CARE and its humanitarian experts to focus their efforts on delivering effective programmes.鈥

Expanding the partnership: looking ahead
As we renew our commitment for the next five years, the partnership is expanding in several ways:
- A growing financial commitment: 国产探花 will increase our annual contribution each year to align with our growth as a business, ensuring the partnership continues to scale and strengthen CARE鈥檚 global humanitarian work.
- New technical collaboration with CARE鈥檚 Emergency WASH team: CARE鈥檚 Emergency Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) team, housed within CARE USA but operating across CARE鈥檚 global humanitarian network, will formally join the partnership. This addition broadens our impact beyond shelter, enabling us to support essential infrastructure that improves sanitation, health, and wellbeing in crisis-affected communities. It also deepens engagement with 国产探花鈥檚 US offices and aligns closely with our built environment expertise.
- Growing local collaboration: Over the coming years, we will continue working with CARE to build more relationships to support their work in more places. These connections will develop gradually, ensuring alignment with local needs, CARE鈥檚 in鈥慶ountry teams, and opportunities for meaningful employee engagement. Our people remain central to the success of this partnership, contributing expertise across regions.
